Well we took some time out ta go & join some beautiful peeps up in Penticton, BC for a fundraiser for MoM (Music on the Mountain in Fort St. James, BC) What a beautiful building the Shatford Centre of the Arts is!! The vibes were amazing as the peeps & we had a memorable time indeed... My littlest Miss Phia Sage performed with me for her debut performance singing "Lost" a song she wrote at the age of 9!!... SoOoo VERY proud of her as she totally nailed it!! Have a looky lou peek a boo to see her video here & please share it with everyone you hold dear!!... <3 ...!! We've returned home to relax for awhile before we blast off to Whitehorse Yukon for the Sunstroke Festival!! Gonna be a rad time for sure!! So for all who are up in that neck of da woods!! Well what more can one really say after opening for a TRUE LEGEND like John Fogerty!! <3 !! I simply cannot express enough gratitude for such an amazing opportunity & to share energies on this scale... I am so gratefully humbled & honored... John took the stage like he was still 17 yrs old!! even though he's 67... you would have never have known... Truly a magnificently awe struck eve... This was truly the greatest display of raw natural talent I have ever seen on a musical stage... I would get into the details... but instead I will suggest to all of you... Go see John Fogerty while ya stil can!! It will be the musical highlight of your lives!!
I'd love ta thank the lovely older couple we danced with all night long at the show... They shared the stories of when they were first together @ Woodstock 68' when the Grateful Dead had just finished playing & CCR took the stage!! Amazing that not only are they still together... they were sharing that memory @ John Fogertys show in 2012 with me n' my crew!! Amazingly beautiful & SoOoo much fun!! Were back on the beautiful West Coast taking some time off to catch up with friends & family after being out on the road since June!!... We played almost 40 shows... The good news... Even more to come... We are beginning to record a double album next week!! World Gypsy Rock on 1 side... Acoustic on the other!!!... Well... After leaving Edmonton we had a bit of time to enjoy the great outdoors before our gig @ the Lido Theater in Fort St. John... We blasted off to Prince George to play Nancy O's where the PeePs always seem to know how ta get down with us... There were a lot of reservations to come n' see us & we were gratefully humbled for the attendance & support!! Thanks for sharing your love!!... We then traveled back up ta FSJ & The show was amazingly off the hook... Had a couple of BroMigo's Mike Strandberg & Ryan Hennessy Open for us... Truly a fine display of talent!!... We played to a VERY engaging crowd that beckoned on our energies for over 2.5 hrs of Rock Solid fun!! I collapsed onto the drum riser behind me close to the end of our show from exhaustion... Vilo asked if I was alright & I replied... "Just keep kicking my drum"... He did & I was slowly resurected back into finish the night & Encore of 3... WOW!!! What a treat it was ta share that with all who attended!!...
We Played the historic Alaska Hotel in Dawson Creek, BC on Sunday eve... The energies there were historic indeed!! What a vibe... Everyone was dialed in & the sharing was bountifully sweet... Once again we had our brutha Ryan Hennessy open for us... Love that guy n' his tunes!!... The sad part of this story was that Friday... The Historic Alaska Hotel @ Mile Zero of the Alaska Hwy. burnt to the ground... The town gathered & watched history fade into black ashes & soot... Sadly so Sadly its just the way life goes... unfolds... Our hearts are indeed within the community as they try n' move on releasing the fond memories & sacred attachments that were shared within this monument... The following eve @ Historic Rolla Pub in Rolla, BC... Patti had us play to a Sold Out Pub that was looking for a good time all things considered... Well... We gave them a night to remember... WE EXPLODED into that pub that was built in 1920... & everyone was positively vibrant the magic was alive!!! We again were SoOoo empowered by the people that we played for over 2.5 hrs!!! A few in attendance were from the Encana Events Center in Dawson Creek... (Where we witnessed Stone Temple Pilots The night before after seeing the Alaska burn)... We were complimented highly for our efforts & told "You Rocked It!!"... Upon hearing this I gave them CD's & shared how wonderfully sweet it was ta hear that they not only had fun but that they were compelled ta share how they felt... It was at this very Moment we were invited to play the Pre Show Party @ Encana Events Center for John Fogerty!!! I mean seriously!!! What an amazing opportunity ta play with one of the world's Elite in the music industry that captured our ears from the very 1st moment we heard their magic tunes!!! Once again blown completely away... Gratefully humbled n' honored... We accepted the offer... This will be one HellzZzzz of a Shin Dig!! & we promise ta give back to the man what he gave us all these years!!! Our hearts within music...<3!!! Well the nice part about being on Tour is seeing all of Beautiful BC!! I just love the place in which we live!! Warms my aura n' soothes my soul!! We played the Lions Head Smoke & Brew Pub in Robson (Other side of river from Castlegar) to an amazingly sweet crowd of peeps!! Get this!! The patio outside has a fire pit in it!! You can sip a brew chat around the fire while listening to tunes then come back inside & shake it like its the last dance on earth!! Cool Beans!! SoOoo after playing to such a sweet crowd we stayed out on Christina Lake about an hour south on #3 Crowsnest & enjoyed some R & R... Soaking in 33 degree sunny day weather in a 2 man innertube in the pristine is just fine by me!! :P...
Taking the Long way up country to Albertas Edmonton we traveled thru Kootenay National Park... WoW!! Loved it... Not gonna lie... Prairies vs. Mtns... Mtns are gonna win my heart every time...;) Hitting up the Naked Cyber Cafe was a home away from home indeed... Everything felt like family & the vibes were bliss... Upon arrival what else could we have done but hit up the West Edmonton Malls Waterpark!! OoOooh Baby!! Its DA BOMB!!! Gotta go if ya haven't!!...;P ... Into the eve we had a good friend Colin Close open up the night acoustically for us in a room that had Che Guevara on the wall, the owners name was Che & Slash was on the wall behind the drum kit!! HellzZzz Yes!! The PeePs were solid & we lit up the night indeed... as we poured out our sweat Rockin tha ShiZzle outta Naked Cafe... We fel thumbled grateful & honored to have shared with such an amazing energy & sea of peeps... We will be returning indeed to see the eyes of great new friends... I was given a sacred gift upon loading out... A wall hanging from a woman in Chile given to Che's Pops ( Owner of Naked Cafe) whom passed it onto me... Its a pic of Che Guevara with a caption by the great man... "Let me say, at the risk of seeming ridiculous, that the true revolutionary is guided by great feelings of love" You can see this wall hanging attached to our merch table... WoWzAh's!!! What an unreal audience @ Diner's Rendezvous in Nanaimo for the Tom Wilson ShoW!!! :D !!! It was an amazingly Be-You-tiful vibe from the jump... Meeting Tom, Ray & Johnny was a real treat!!... Old school boys playing with noise!! The place was past capacity & when we took the stage the response was explosive!! By the end of our 5 song opener we had the crowd screaming & singing our song "Colt 45" to the point we were almost drowned out!! NIIICCCEEE!!! Thank you to all of you beautifully amazingly PeePs that came out to watch the show & the support!! Much appreciated...
Our Journey to this show saw us @ Humanity in Tofino, BC the eve before to play where our good friend Morgan Callison of Green Soul Organics (Downstairs) totally showed us what friends & hospitality truly are all about... The spiritual presence of Humanity is amazingly sweet & if anyone is ever in that neck of the woods its a MUST!!!... Thank ya Tofino, Humanity & everyone involved with such a beautifully empowered community sanctuary!! Namaste indeed!! Just before we hit Tofino... We rocked out with an old mate Mike Ferguson from Aegis Fang Victoria, BC. We were really stoked as it had been such a long time since we'd shared the stage!!... We were also so very blessed to have Shelly Wickens & Von McKnelly come to the show & capture our performance with their amazingly passionate n' creative eyes!! WoWzAh'S!! What else can one say after such an amazing lil festive trip thru some of BC's finest!! We hit up the back yards of the Besties in Castlegar for a very special lil mans 2nd Bday!! Just as we got rolling... 1st set... The RCMP showed up??.. i says pardon??... Thats right by 7:20 pm on a Saturday night a neighbor who was invited but declined tried to send their negatives our way... The Response!!??... "Let's all pool in $20 each & pay the fine!!...:D'" life carried on in beauty & love... The kids all had a time at the instruments & making music... Lil man named Miles is now getting a drum kit from Mama n' Papa!! SaHwEEtNeSs!!... So much love in the air... Rolling thru 2nd set... RCMP show up @ 8:20 lol... 2 Tickets for noise violation... We finished up & called it after 2 amazing sets with an amazing appearance by Birthday Boy Tiger who rocked the floor tom & sang harmonies!!... We were so gratefully humbled to be surrounded with such beautiful peeps & a magical eve it was regardless of... Ahem... Ummm... Ya... lol... SOOO!!! off to the coast for some down time & preparing for our island gigs!! 1st up is Logan's pub with an old friend Mike Ferguson... Long time n' coming!! Will be a blast... Then Tofino for a show with a great musician & friend Austin Buerge @ Humanity... Last of the island dates is @ Diners Rendezvous in Nanaimo opening for Canadian Rock Legend Tom Wilson!! What an Honor!! I'd buy tix if I were you before they SELL OUT!!! ;)

WoW!! Holy Doodle!! The Grateful Fed Kelowna, BC was indeed an enormus cosmic explosion!! The crowd was huge... Fed was packed & the energy exchange was as high as high!! Thank you all who attended soOoo very much!! What a night!! YES we will be back again this summer & looking forward to more rip roaring times with all of YOU!!... The Okanagan has been fantastico & our brutha Jake Verburg in Salmon Arm (Who should be joining us on some dates!!) set up a whirlwind of musical fantasy while we were in the Arm... Huge blessings to you Jake & all we met on the journey!!... Were currently relaxing in Penticton where we will be playing a sweet lil shin dig called VooDoo's!! We went there last night & met the band "Tim Vaughn"... Sweet blues rock band... They're from Saskatoon, Regina & Calgary... They sounded alot like Shawn Verrault of Wide Mouth Mason!! Check them out!! ... After that we went with them & the owners Sasha & Tammy to their Cherry Orchard & home where we sat around a blazing bon fire singing songs & sharing life experiences!!... Cheers to beautiful peeps synchronicities & this magical flower of life!!... Were heading to Castlegar for a private function tomorrow & then heading to the island for some very greatly & highly anticipated shows... One icludes opening for Canadian Rock Legend Tom Wilson (Junkhouse, Blackie & the Rodeo Kings, LEe HaRVEY OsMOND) ... Gonna be sweet... & Huge!! until then!!

Rolling along some of our provinces sweetest highways, absorbing all of our beautiful BC serenity, has been 2nd to none!! The priveledge to be able to tour with our music is truly humbling & I'm ever so very grateful!! It's all of you who make it truly possible... Vilo is coming in 2nd place @ Music Trivia in the Tour Van but rest assured we break even from time to time lol... Nancy O's was a smashing good n' wildly festive time & I am reeaaally looking forward to rocking the socks off the peeps in PG soon again!! We're heading to the Island to play in Port Alberni on July 5th @ the Rainbow Room & are building up momentum indeed... 1st up The Sam Roberts Band @ Cloverdale Amphitheater for Canada Day!! What an amazingly sweet n' explosive musical evening!! We started off the night with a good friend Mike Strandberg who lit up the stage with a beautiful new original tune & some blasts from the past... Emily Spiller took the stage next capturing the peeps with her amazing looping sounds & deep soulful voice that had everyones attention on her as she took us on a sexy rootsy magic carpet ride... Once we finally took the stage we were grateful to have our good friend Iyan Bruvold join in the mix with his awesome banjo!! Glenn Girard killed Colt 45 with an unreal powerhouse of melody on the Harmonica & the crowd response was second to none!! What an amazing energy all of you exchanged with us!! Would'nt have been possible without ya & were looking forward to seeing more of ya & all of ya @ Sweetwater 905 in Rolla June 15-17th!!...
